Holiday Activities In The South Jersey Area

There are lots of special events happening in our area this holiday season.  Here a just a few:

Old Fashioned Christmas in Cape May – This is an exhibit of holiday traditions through the years complete with model trains, toys and much more. The dates for this event are November 21st to January 1st.  
Storybook Land Christmas Fantasy – This event has been a South Jersey tradition for over 25 years.  Santa is in his home and lights the park until December 23rd. All of the rides, attractions and snack bars are open. The dates for this event are November 22nd to December 30th.
Camden Adventure Aquarium Christmas Celebration –  Join in the annual holiday celebration under the sea featuring Scuba Santa® plus beloved holiday characters like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster. All of this happens with 8,500 super cool animals, larger-than life-decorations, twinkling lights, glowing trees, gently falling snow and two million gallons of fun. The dates for this event are November 28th to January 1st.
Haddonfield Candlelight Shopping/Holiday Festivities – Candlelight Shopping takes place every Friday evening from November 28th through December 19th.  Parking is free in Haddonfield during the holidays – from November 28th through December 24th.
Christmas at Johnsons Farm – Visit with Santa. Take a horse drawn hayride. See thousands of twinkling lights. Decorate a Ginger Bread man.  See a Nativity with live animals. The dates for these activities are November 28th through December 30th.
Collingswood Parade - The 2014 Collingswood Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, November 29 beginning at 10 am running along Haddon Avenue beginning at Zane Avenue. The parade features lively seasonal entertainment, including marching bands, dancers, holiday characters, giants on stilts, floats, mummers, live music—even sports mascots like the Phillie Phanatic.
Medford Dickens Festival – This festival is a great event each year and will be held on December 6th. There will be upbeat music, mouth-water treats, clowns, ice sculptures and maybe even a visit from Santa Claus.    
Battleship NJ Breakfast with Santa - The annual Breakfast with Santa will take place on Saturday, December 6th beginning at 9 am.  The fee is an $18 donation for children and $24 for adults.  Military families get a special discount of just $10 per person.
